hey guys,
so basically, what happens is when i turn my car on when the engine is cold i hear this loud screetching noise and i have no idea what it is. so then, i turn off my engine and turn it back again and no noise. i just got my timing belt replaced so could it have have any correlation with that considering i have never had this problem prior to the exchange?

i already searched and couldn't really find anything related or i missed it.

alternator belt. loose or busted. busted/going bust if it's been doing it a while

 

definitely the accesory belts. get them checked out

most definitely is the belt, but it can also be the tensioneer if its too tight, it can be doing some whining noise too ro screetching
