Best aftermarket car seat...
Looking for personal experience here (good or bad).
My stock CRX seats with 200K+ miles on them are givin me lower back probs and it's time to bring em to the dump. Looking for seats that are reclinable and will allow the use of a good harness system. Also have distant roll cage plans, but not gutting the interior.
Don't wana sit on a milk crate so hurry up and vote!

try to find a shop with seats in stock and sit in them! that is the only real way to tell what will fit you best since people come in all shapes and sizes.
Sounds like good advice breaker_1_9, but my stock seat feels "good" to me just to sit in them. It's when I drive for more than 1/2 an hour, or try for some "Insane Stunt Bonus Points" (ie: normal CRX driving) that my lower back starts talkin to me. I think it's cause the springs in the bottom part are weaker then new and once the car starts pullin +G's in the turns, and dips they give out when the're not supposed to.
I'm just hopeing to get some info on a good seat with good support that also lasts, worth the $, ...ect, that will work into my future plans for the car. My thinking wuz to ask other CRX owners because they know how their seats perform "on the road". BTW, If anyone knows of such a store like breaker_1_9 wuz talkin bout, in the Orlando area, post it here!
Thanks!

I have Corbeau A4's and i
them. They even feel good during long trips. click here to see pics http://community.webshots.com/user/crx89sir If you are a little on the heavy side, they might not be for you. I'm 5'10, 179lbs and they fit me perfect.

Nice car bro! Those seats look good in it too.
Where did ya get em and how much did you pay?
Did you hafta buy rails and sliders or can you use the Honda ones that were in yer car?
I should have put this in my original post but if everyone could put the price and store/website where they got them that would be kewl. Also if anyone knows if I need to buy rails/sliders for any of the above mentioned seats that info would help me out a lot too!

The Corbeau's will run u about 300 a seat and 75 per rail. Corbeau has a mount for the seatbelt locking mechanism to attach to. I bought the seats from a friend who purchased them for his delsol and after a week decided they were too narrow for him because he is a "bigger" guy. I think i saw a group buy for these seats, im not sure if it has expired yet. If not, just look around the internet, im sure u can find a good deal on them.
i would rewrap ur seats at an upholstery shop,in cali we have a place called apollo that does some real good quality craftmenship which cost a fraction of racing seats 300-400 for both seats(they reshape and stuff them too).plus the seats already look bomb as hell in si rex.thats if u have the 90+ si seats.i also heard they were made by recaro, not sure.with the money u save could upgrade your suspension if u havent done that like....koni or kyb with good coilovers or full coilovers. that help saves the notorious bounce in the crx which hurt my back before i upgraded my ****.

ok he wants adjustable. go witht he sparco torino's(sp) . i think that is what they are called in the ad. they are a nice looking seat and very comfy. my friend has a set.go look in your latest sport compact car or super streeet for the sparco ad. they always put that seat in the ad
Sounds like good advice twinkie *grin* I'll hafta go look in the yellow pages to see if there's a place like that round here, hope they replace the springs in the seats too cause I think I remember hearin something spring-like breaking down there on a death turn one night.
If not I'm kinda leaning toward the Tenzo Rallys. Money is a desiding factor in this and from just my first round of "price vs product" research the Tenzo's seem to be dialed into my budget for this mod.
Would love to know what the deal is with these rail/slider "upsells". I mean, if everyone needs them why aren't they just included in the cost of the seat???
What do you recommend for suspention mods? Haven't even gone there in my mine yet, but would appreceate any info u have to offer.
