i think a buddy of mine with a Black 98+ LS will get the oem itr lip soon. when he does, we'll post pics
but in the meantime, if anyone else decides to walk across the tightrope, make sure to give us some feedback on quality and fitment

I have just ordered these and will come back with a Quality report once I get home in 3 weeks time and can take a look at them.

I ordered those valances for 70 last time, fiber glass, they barely fit. so what i have to do now is shave down an egde of where it hooks into the back of the bumper and use rivets instead of screws, for i fear they will crack when i try to drill holes into them

Well that doesn't sound too good, but oh well they are cheap. Will see how they fit when get around to installing them. And I have a lot of fiberglass stuff at home for my model airplanes, so if they need some work no problem.

No way I'm paying $700+ for a set of OEM parts that will need to be prepped and painted as well, they are not worth that much to me.

I have one of those 98-01 replacement front lips.

IMO it's not worth it. There is a reason why the OEM unit is the extra money. I regret buying a cheap replacement.

I still have one in CW with fresh paint I haven't even installed because of how it "bolts up" to the front bumper.
