I know street racing
So i was racing a srt4 running 20psi with a polished actuater.
well first run was a 45 drop he won.
2nd run 65 drop i walk he nicely.
3rd go the srt4 was in front of me and a 240 was other side of him they are racing so i see how i can hang with them and i am all up in there *** like riding my brake look over 20 something psi
!!! but it was to late BOOOM!
No not the ZC my Eng. is indisputable (well so far)
How the hell did my ZC out last the turbo

i have hit 20 psi on it before pull the eng. apart cuz it blow the head gasket and it was fine

What kills motors is detonation, extreme heat, or raw power. A small bit of the 1st can kill instantly, a fair amount of #2 can kill quickly, and usually takes a lot (relative to other 2) of #3 to kill it. #3 will usually spin bearings, bend rods, break ringlands, or put holes in pistons. The ZC does have higher compression than other d's, but also beefier rods. You either got lucky, or you've already busted a ringland or two.
THe main reason it outlasted it - its an XSPOWER turbo

Yeah i know it lost a little bit not much tho found most of the in the filter.
but if i missed something i hope my front mount was a good filter for it.

As soon as the turbo blow i took off all the charge piping and when i started it back up to get it off the side of the road it flew out on to the road.

After you serperated the housings from the center section, could you see any damage to the shaft? Does it look like the nut just came loose? I'm guessing you over revved the turbo.

The ZC is still running like a champ, and I was boosting the day after. Me and vacum don't get along too good. I like to keep it on the positive pressure side.

Thats pretty lucky that it was the turbo instead of the engine</TD></TR></TABLE> WHen you turbo them...;even with it tuned they will not last as the piston will not handle the added heat and will usually crack around the piston ring lands(this is where the highest heat temp will be at)

hell no I didn't do it on purpose. the vacum line that goes to the boost controller came disconnected.

. NA sucks when you afford the things that make NA worthwhile.
