f4i a good beginer bike?
searched underneath f4i couldnt really find a definate answer,
my friend has a 02 f4i he loves it, i see them usually go for about 5k? would this be a ok beginer bike? im going to take the rider course of course.
main thing is just to learn and ride it around my town for awhile no stunting/revving/flying at redline just basicly cruising till i get the feel for things.
any sites i can go to that alot of f4i guys are on and alot of info on it?

I do, when my eyes don't feel like contacts. It's fine, they'll fog in high humidity, low speeds, like if it's just rained or is raining (don't ride in the rain for a while anyways); or if you leave your visor down at a stop light, but a well ventilated helmet will clear as soon as you start moving.
Actually, my sunglasses fog under my helmet easier than my glasses (just because they're wrap around).
I have seen a couple pictures of someone who went down and cut their face up with their glasses, but hey, **** happens.

You're going to get incredibly varied answers to this question (usually depending on what a person started on).
I don't think so. Of course, I 'putter' around on a 250 every day. You're going to get people who say it's fine, and that they started on a liter bike, and never went down.
I've never met a reputable rider who's never gone down, and most go down in their first year of riding. It just happens sometimes. Hell, I've been riding since I was nine, and I went down just 3 months ago, because I made a dumb mistake.
It's going to be more expensive to go down on a full fairing'ed 600 than a naked beater *** 250/500

i c, i guess its up to me.
guy at my work has a buell i asked him he thought 600 was to much.
i saw a good post someone said any bike is a good beginer bike AS LONG as you respect the power of the bike no stunting and stupid ****.
but thanx for ur answer guess its up to me and how i learn.
im not the type to rev /stunt around, i ******* actually get irritated of
sport bike guys revving like crazy at a stop light or popping constant wheelies like
atten ******, like my post said just something to cruise around in and eventually get better riding exp.

I'm going to go ahead and suggest a Suzuki GS500 (not the new one, the GS500f). They're naked (cheaper), not a 250 (take it from a 250 rider, it takes a special breed to ride one of these for more than a month without getting anxious), but not a sport 600. Plus, they're sexy.

I wear glasses all the time and I have no problem with them and my helmet.
I mean just like most people say I think a F4i would be a good started bike as long as you give it 100% respect and take it slow.
Best of luck

a 600 f4i is a great starter bike. plenty of power but it's very stable. the honest truth is on a 250, 600, or a liter bike, sh@# is insanely dangerous...you are going to die just as easily. the main difference is the bigger the engine, the more you are going to have to be disciplined. if you want a full fairing bike, go for it. just get something used and that preferably has frame sliders. take a rider safety course and you should be straight.
good luck!

yeah i know how dangerous things can get(to a point havent ridden yet so i cant really say i know how dangerious things can get, friend got in a accident someone rear ended him and he got Fucked up), in my earlier years if i was to get a bike i know for a fact that id be stunting around trying to rev, but i just want to take things slow. My good friend that has a 02f4i just takes things slow and gradually learns.
another friend of mine his parents spoil him alot got him a brand new bike, dont know the specs know its a ninja, i dont think ur first bike should be a BRAND new one but eh if my parents did that for me id go for it
thanx for all ur response's guys i really appreciate it alot

im starting on a 02 R6, so, the same but im carbed. most of these bikes have linear/not crazy powerbands up til 8K so as long as you stay there while learning and stay smart i think a 600 is fine
