Should I buy? (What a loaded question!)
My Prelude has been sold to someone who can appreciate it, but I need something to fill the void. I have been looking at a bunch of things, but the TSX and RSX rank pretty high.
I do have a question, though -- just how annoying is it to have a baby seat in the back? It was pretty bad in the Prelude, but as far as I can tell, the RSX is about the same as far as knee room. (The RSX is worse in head room -- kind of annoying, but I guess as long as I don't have to get back there...

i have a friend who has a childseat in his rsx. his daughter is 8 and i always feel her pain when I see her crawling in and out. Get a tsx if you're a father. And if you have a lot of money, get an rsx on the side. family first man.

Yeah, I have been afraid that it might be the "deal killer".
I dunno, the rear seats SEEM like they'd be good for kids, since they're smaller, but when you have a car seat, you need some extra room. Soooo....
It's hard to say how often I would need to use it for the kid. Probably wouldn't be often, but it has to have enough room to at least be safe. If the legs are too close to the front seat, that doesn't sound too safe.
The TSX seems like a safe fit, at least. It's just not quite as sporty, but it's a great ride nonetheless!

Exactly right. If you want to risk wrapping yourself around a telephone pole, that's one thing, but take the utmost care with others, especially those so young. Unfortunately, with street racing, you are also potentially putting pedestrians at risk, but that's another topic....

I was going to say that the govt recommends kids 12 and under be in the back seat b/c of airbags, but then I remembered that there are now rear curtain airbags. Now where are we supposed to put kids? The trunk?
