yesterday i raced a friend of mine with my stock da. the one im getting ready too fix up now. he has a b20b in his. we raced 4 times i pulled him hard 3. the last race i was pulling him pretty hard then i lost hellaciuos power mid range through third gear, and he blew by me like i was barely moving. i slowed down and realized noise from the engine. i stopped and reved slowly around 2500 its starts to raddle and click and so on. so we all know that rod is done with. so besides sharing this story. i was wondering if anyone has a b18a1 or b1 for sale. just the bottom end or complete. please let me know. bristol virginia area. thanks

 

sorry to hear that.. you best bet is to try the classified... and you better be beefing up that block.

 

Check local junk yards. They are everywhere in SWVA for cheap. I used to get them for around $50 -$150 all the time. I lived in Roanoke and would go to the junkyards in Bedford.
