Motor dies when the Engine get hot or it's hot outside...
A friend of mine is having trouble with his 1993 Accord with the 2.2L engine. When the engine gets hot, or it's really hot outside, it just dies. He usually ends up waiting about 5 mins and it starts back up again. He's replaced the distributor, and replaced the fuel pump. Are there any other ideas out there as to what may be causing his problem???
it could be a main relay,,,,,,,,when you say the distr was replaced did it come complete or did you have to swap over coil and ignitor ,, if so it could be a bad coil or ignitor but you need to diagnose when car dies chk to see if it is spark or fuel related,
