us SE-R cup guys, at least here on the east coast are expanding to include ITA 240sx and ITS 240sx (w/ some adjustments made to ITS 240s) to run w/ SE-Rs in SE-R cup...any takers, or suggestions for adjustment in speed disaparity

we also may include non-ITA 240s under a formula similar to our current SE-R rules

 

That sounds like a great idea, it would be nice to see the S13/14's out there NOT drifting...

Hey we tried to get Nissan v. Honda at shenandoah but you Honda guys ran scared and had to have a head start (split grid ) ;-).....

ps. based on shenandoah, the H3, and H4 v. Se-r race shoud be pretty close for summit,

On the west coast, the best SE-R is 2.5 to 3 seconds slower than the fastest H4 cars. And that's with 2.0 liters (compared to 1.6 for the CRX and 1.8 for the DA) and a 15 whp/weight rule in effect. It just goes to show that horsepower and torque advantage doesn't make up for a crappy suspension design. Sorry Nissan.

 

I have no reason to doubt you Johnny but is that the SR or SRX class cars?

I thought generaly we are now faster than the fastest H4's most of the time? The one race I ran this year at Willow we were.

I know at Cal Speedway we are.

No I take that back, Edic's Integra is faster I think, I think he's a bunch faster than the rest of the H4 cars though?

Sorry if I havent been paying much attention to the results, I havent been able to race this year so far due to the broken leg.
