Default Help with an oil leak!!

95 Civic EX Coupe, D16z6. Stock with a few bolt ons.

There seems to be oil leaking from both ends of the oil pan, up near the crankshaft. I've drained and redone the gasket twice, with plenty of goop, and it's still leaking. Leaves a spot about the size of a quarter every few weeks while just sitting in the garage, but it's a track only car, and spits quite a bit more under the pressures and rigors of racing.

Any ideas of what could be leaking? Are there crankshaft seals that may have gone bad?

Thanks for the help.

Is that the plasticky thing around the crank at the ends of the pan?

Sounds like I'd have to drop the crank to replace it, huh?

If it's the rear main seal then you will have to drop the tranny. In your case it's leaking from both sides so it might not be the main seal.
