How do I remove....
a broken spark plug from the head? The part where the socket is came off and now the spark plug is stuck. the head is off the block. I can use my long nose but i don't want to break the hook thing at the end of the plug.
Crap, that's what happens w/o a tune up kiddies. Pour some liquid wrench down, warm engine for few seconds, let cool for a few more. Yes, metal does expand when hot/warm, however when these problems occur it has helped a lot of people release a broken part.
I'm not sure what part is broken; need more input. But if the head is off you can twist the plug from under neath.

i was going to twist the plug from under neath but i don't want to snap the plug. the part that broke off is the metal part where the socket holds on to the plugs.
First thing, I'd suggest SOAKING it in WD-40 or liquid wrench for a few hours/days.
Use a hammer and a chisel to remove the ceramic and try a BIG easyout? Or some needlenose pliers and BE CAREFUL of the threads?
Too bad the potato on a broken lightbulb trick won't work
