Default intake manifold

a friend of mine told me that i could use a type r intake manifold in my 05 civic ep i was wondering if this is true or not. im sorry to all who find this stupid but im new to cars and i just want to know

As long as your referring to a K20a type R manifold it will FIT just fine on your motor. You will probably lose some low end torque and top end gains will be minimal. Its been discussed on other forums as well....some said it was worth it, others didnt.

It would be a waste of money, you wouldn't reach the RPM necessary for the ITR IM to reach its peak performance range.
