Default Sway bar sizes 1998 Accord LX >>> Performed search

I know that the last generation Acura TL rear sway bar will work on the 98-02 Accord as this is my daily driver and I am looking to make it more entertaining day-to-day since I don't drive my autocross prepared Civic that much anymore on the streets.

I am curious to see what the size difference is as the search was a little inconclusive. Are there other reasonable options without breaking the bank (under $100)?

Thanks...

The TL sway is probably the cheapest. The aftermarket options are more and the only reasonable upgrades are 19mm and up. The new TL sway will fit too it's 22mm, but you'll need to buy 22mm bushings. Your current anti-sway bar is 17mm (I'm pretty sure).

Yes, I did the TL type S swap onto my car (make sure it's a tl type S)

99-03 sway, with bushings and mounts, will DEFINITELY bolt up to your car (I did it myself).

It is a 22mm bar, and I believe the lower models did NOT have a sway (or a wimpy one) and EX's had 19mm. I may be incorrect but the TL sway was MUCH bigger than the one I had on my 2000 Accord SE. You feel the difference as well.

Make sure you have some PB blaster to get the rust off the parts under the car, cause theyre guaranteed to be stuck on. I bought ALL new parts I might need from the dealership and just returned what I didnt need after to make sure I could do it quickly. Do a search on Accord TL-S sway swap on google, theres a detailed passage on it somewhere, with part numbers as well
