My friend has an accord with an F23? It's the SOHC VTEC engine, that's all i know. It has around 95,000 miles on it. Today he went to the grocery store and came back out in the hot missouri heat and humidity and started it up and it died. So he sprayed some gas into the air filter and it started back up and died again. We were wondering what this could be and how to fix it? and if the heat had anything to do with it. I'm not really familiar with Accords b/c I have a Prelude so any help would be very useful. Thanks a lot.

if it starts and dies right away could be a faulty electrical part of ignition switch ,,, see if you can keep it running by keep spraying carb cleaner in throttle body if so it is fuel related main relay, fuel pump issues
