Default Generation-3 coilovers coming from Buddy Club for EP3 and DC5 Heads Up! + Buddy Tie Rods

I hung out at the Buddy Club office in Ontario yesterday for literally like 5 hours..Anyway spoke to their head engineer who gave me the scoop on some new products coming out for the EP3 and DC5

GEN 3 Coilover- Totally redesigned bottom bracket with adj. arm (SICK)..New alloy that is 40% lighter than older design..Redesigned top camber plate with floating disk, keeps spring from binding under lateral load..Cause of many squeeks and crunks known on ep3's and dc5's. No longer will they be revalving the shocks, they will have fully replacable cartridges..So when you blow them they send you a new cartridge and you re-use the top and bottom pieces (major $$ saving) New type of oil that resists breakdown and foaming 250% better than before..

SWAYBAR- Desiging new swaybar for front and rear..Did not go into much detail but it is def. something coming out soon. 27 in front 25 mm in rear

ADJ TIE ROD and ENDS- No more toe in issues for those who are slammed and major neg camber. Similar I believe to J's Racing

New Pro Spec Exhaust with 2.5 id piping. Made only for DC5 and EP3.. Made to work in conjunction with new exhaust

New Racing Spec Computer piggyback for K20A

I also asked there plan for more aero parts or rims..And they have nothing planned. Will focus on Performance parts mainly..

Overall I was really impressed with their product knowledge and dedication to quality..I have the GEN 2 coilover and it is amazing..I just can't wait for the new one to come out..Let me tell you it is an amazing design.!!

I posted this because all of the ep3 heads have gone through hell with getting the suspension right. I am stoked that there is a MFR so dedicated to an otherwise neglected car.

is this still on R&D or are they selling these soon?

how much did they offer for the tie rods? those would be some good ones to invest money for.

Those sway bars sound like the hotchkis competition sways for EP3/DC5. Depending on price, have to see which is a better deal! Good info

YEA! Sounds good to me. By the way, what would be any type of weight differences between the stock shocks and the new buddy clubs?

That's because, honestly...the majority of folks who mod their EP3/RSX are in it for looks and not performance. BC products are indeed too stiff for the ricers.

Just wait until prices go down on the used cars. I think you'll start to see a lot more 'race' products purchased as they get into the hands of enthusiasts. Even though the cars are not double-wishbone that does not mean they can't be made to handle well.

What's the info on the racing spec computer for the K20? Is it going to be pretty much the same as previous B-series ECU's?
