Default H22 head on h23 block

well i got this big problem...im broke...and well about a month ago i gave up any thought of ever having a fast accord without an h22...well tonight i read on the internet that an h23 block with an h22 head could prodce around 200 hp i doubt it...but anyways would doing that kind of set up be worth it or waste of time???

hey man, good to see another NC resident, well for starters there are many threads on this subject, so searching would be a good idea, next, the problem with just swaping the head is that the crank isnt made to be spun that high in the rpms. Another problem is getting all of the parts to make it work, you need a lot of little things that are hard to come by on there ownlike the water pipe, and a few other things I cant think of right now. good luck, 200whp isnt that hard to do, with enough money of course

i live in charlotte too....... anways.... the h22/h23 vtec hybrid is a torque monster.... it is supposed to be pretty nasty however you cant turn more than 7,000 rpms safely... although the revs arent very high, this hybrid makes insane power compared to just a ls vtec or other vtec head swaps..... -justin-
