tach not working

how odd... only thing you can do if it's truely the tach is replace the gauge cluster. Junkyard
If it isn't running right as well, your distributor may be the problem.
Check your fuses if other things on the gauge cluster don't work.

also could be an Ignitor going bad and make sure none of the wires to the dizzy are damaged
