help! mpfi and odb1 swap simultaniously
I am putting a d15b7 from 92 dx in an 89 std. I have all the dist, o2 on the complete motor. odb1 ecu is wired. I wonder what variations of the mpfi swap I need to and don't need to do because of the odb1 conv. If you have a link to modified instructions that would be helpful because I searched and could not find one.

1. ECU jumper, OBD0 to OBD1
2. Subharness for O2 etc..
3. Distributor Wiring Adapter
4. Injectors (staying OBD0 or goin OBD1) Both will work.
If OBd0 Injectors, do MPFI swap as usual. http://www.effinmotorworks.com (see their tech section)
If OBD1 Injectors, do MPFI swap but instead of 6 pin plug for Injector resistor box, use a 8 pin OBd1 plug with zero-resistance bridge cap. (we nicknamed it block-off plug)
(do not use the obd1 engine harness)

Hmm i just did this. But i bought a conversion harness. All i had to do was wire the car as if it were a Si, then add a few extra wires for the obd-1 conversion (vtec solenoid, 4 wire o2, vtec pressure, and few others), then the harness does the rest. There are two yellow/blk wires that run to the 2 stock DPFI injectors, since i am using saturated (high impedance) injectors, i just solder those together and then run 4 wries to the injectors from the two yellow black wires.
if it's OBD1... 92-95, they require 12 volts.
This doesn't apply to some other engine models (prelude, accord), but that one, it does.
