repainting crx moldings black.

I'm about to do mine, i think it looks way better. Any reference lines i should look out for. Only thing i've seen is from other pics. And what prep work did you guys do. I was going to use duplicolor trim paint. Hopefully it turns out ok.

Im going to polish the wheels, and hammer it.
I posted this in the crx forum too, but maybe someone that doesnt go there very much can be of some assitance to me as well. I know crx wolf did his, so if you see this could you chime in please.

sand it down good w/ 320 grit , clean it , mask it off and spray
EDIT: i said sand it down good because your moldings were already painted .

What he said ^ ^ ^..... be sure to use "dupli color" trim paint to get that oem black look.
