Default Accord clutch slave or throwout bearing

When i release my clutch the release fork does not go all the way in, if i reach down i can push it back another inch or so, is this normal, or is the trowout bearing going bad, throwout bearing has about `140,000 miles, but the clutch is dual friction centerforce, and act exteme flywheel. thanks in advance.

Not really sure which way you're talking about...

When you engage the clutch (pedal UP) the throw-out fork doesn't have to go completely in towards the slave cylinder. It only goes in far enough so the clutch is engaged. You can move it in, compressing the slave cylinder some more. As the clutch wears out, it goes in more & more until eventually it uses up that extra distance & there's no more room to compress the slave. Then your clutch starts slipping... Is that the kind of action you're talking about?

thats exactly it, thanks a lot for the answer, just felt like i lost a lot of power all of a sudden, and am looking for possible causes, but we also bought a Jetta VR6 at the same time, so i'm not sure if it just feels like it lost power cuz of driving the jetta also.
