I am building an electric sports car from scratch. I wish to use a lightweight transaxle. I am curious about using one from a Honda. I have a few questions:

Is there a list of the various transaxle model numbers, features and which cars they came on?

Anybody know the accuracte weight of the transaxle?

Where can I purchase and LSD for the unit?

I really only need it to be lightweight, so four gears is just fine. Any recommendations for transaxles is greatly appreciated.

Wow this is an active list. How about this: Anybody mind plopping their spare/removed tranny on the bathroom scale and tell me how much it weighs?
