So I bought this right side drive 1995 honda prelude with an h22a1 engine. i didnt get it in the best of shape. certain things are wrong with it. i need to know if anyone knows of any shops in the in the world or any web sites where i could get parts for a car like this. for the most part i can just engineer things to work, but i would much rather have to correct parts for it. i tried the U.K. market, but they are telling me that some of thier parts may not work on the japanese model preludes. everyone else is pretty much out of ideas.
Strong Honda in Auckland New Zealand has the largest used parts shop in the southern hemisphere, so maybe you could try them.
We get Japanese imports here, so they'll have what you need.

i need a master cylinder, brake booster, a/c lines, catalytic converter. these must be compatible with the h22a1. i need a price listing and part numbers if possible.

Wouldn't these parts be the same, just on the other side of the engine bay?

So you don't even know for sure if they are different... why don't you try and do some more research on that...

nope the outlet on the master cylinder are located on the other side. i would have to cut into my wheel well under the hood to make it work. that is not worth trying considering the bolts to the shocks are located right there. as for the a/c line all i really need it to have the lines extended to the left side of the car. the catalytic converter im not sure about. its shorter than the one that is on my other prelude, so i need to just find one that will fit.
are you sure the lines are different on the brake master? Cuz I lived in Japan for 3 years. All the cars I had were the same as the US counterparts. The brakes and clutch M/C's were the same. The lines on the US one cross over the cylinder, whereas the Japanese one just comes out and down. You may be right, but they are propabably the same as here. The US cat's are different. Less stringent emissions in Japan, so the cat is shorter. just replace the exhaust from the manifold back with a US version. I doubt you will find a Japanese cat here. Welcome to the world of driving a RHD car in a LHD country. More hassle than its worth.

the parts should be the same because they mass produce them. the only different thing is the wiring harness i thought? Plus like I said before you have a h22a1 which is a USDM spec motor
Is a '92 very different from a '95? Sorry for the ignorant question but my car was in an accident and I would like to sell the parts. Do any '92 parts work for you?
92-96 shuld be the same thats the 4th gen, if you have a RHD 92 everything is the same except some interior modifications that they made after 94
