Default 2006 RSX?

So ive been interested in picking up an 05 type S. I go down to the local Acura dealer, he tells me no more 2005's. They cant order them.. He said in 6 weeks, the 2006 RSX's will be coming out. This is no problem for me of course, because it will be about 6-8 weeks before i end up buying it anyway. But he said he has no idea what will be different between 05's and 06's. Im wondering maybe if anyone on here has any insight on the 2006 RSX's. Will anything be changed at all? I sure hope they make it an option to remove that ugly lip they call a spoiler. Because from what I understand, that little spoiler comes stock on all 2005 type S's.

Hopefully they might release a Type R trim. That would be a good way to go out for its last year.

The most they would do is give us a rare color like championship white or something.

That's what Honda probally wants you to pay because at only $26/27k you're looking at the price for an A-spec version of the type S. But if we're looking at more resonable 29-31 range, why not pay a few grand more and get the "S2k". It's like selling an EP3 at $19/20 k, which don't sell very well for a fact because people'd rather pay a few grand more for the type S. Figures why Honda hesitate to bring the R to the States. Here's another But, since the regime of the S2k is over in '06 and not very likely to be any "successor" to appear ( not that I know of), there's a slight chance that they might bring in the R in '06 and if they do, a good price point would be at around $28500... who knows what "Honda" will do.... It'd be nice to have the R tho...

I'm considering 06 RSX-S as my next car too.

From the little research I've done it seems they might bring some new colors, thats about it, but what do I know..
