If you notice though, in the second race at the track, he spins through first, through second, then shifts into third so early it almost bogs. Then notice how far ahead the Vette was at the beggining of the race compared to how far ahead at the end. If Holloway had traction, or if that track was 1/4 mile, it would have been OV for the Vette. But "ifs" don't matter... like the man said Holloway, GET SOME DAMN SLICKS!

Another note- The DOHC 240 that drops on the interstate in the vid was at full throttle for the entire duration of that clip... didn't want any confusion there.

 

no doubt it looks like this is gonna be a fast car......thats why i said look into slicks because it spins so bad......I believe in the DOHC ZC...a freind had one go 12.20 in a CRX on spray.....

yes a 9.9 is slow as hell but you have to take in the fact that i cant get traction, i am using a fmu in the video, no o2 sensor and no exhaust.
i run like a 8.9 - 8.7 now tho

lol dont say that my ls with intake and header runs that in the 1/8th when it had a slipping clutch and bad engine mounts
