Which axle is longer?
Sorry for the newbie question..
But I was just wondering which axle (left or right) for a b-series (90-93 teg axles) is longer.
TIA
EDIT: for clarity

Thanks fellas. I am beginning to wonder if I have them backwards
if that's even possible.

Ya, you can't really get them backwards, cause the passenger side axles wont go all the way into the intermediate shaft. Why did you wonder if you had them backwards, are you having issues?

The axle with the longer splines goes in the intermediate shaft..
And is the "drivers side" axle..</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yeah i had forgotten that they had different ends. I'm getting a whine at 35-45mph. its noticeable in 3rd-5th but most pronounced in 4th gear. A tech at honda suggested it might be an axle going bad (I suspect a chip on a gear but really really don't want to pull the tranny). So then I thought it may be possible it's a binding axle and the sound frequency is happening when the wheel gets to that speed and then is amplified by the chassis? I dunno. Just trying to figure it out starting with easiest rather than hardest.

Yep. the rings on the end of the axles are for integra sized hub seals. if you take off the rings they fit the civic sized ones without binding.
