Yes it will, and you wont get an extreme gain.

Youd need cams and what not to see big gains. Id say it was a waste of money on your part. Should have got yours over bored for a lot less.

Yea it fits. Im running a spoon TB. The TB itself will only give about 1-2 hp if that, but does improve throttle response. for price though.

a big tb make actually slow you down. on a stock motor there is a point when you can have to much flow. It's the same reason you don't put a 3" exaust on a n/a car.

botom line is you just wasted a bunch of $$. try to return it and get some cams instead.

Damn so mom paid for it eh?
WIth that much money you could've send the stock one to max bore, bore it out bigger than your pocket, bigger butterfly, and some cams and you could've seen the actual power you're looking for

That is a stupid post. Im sorry, but WTF are you talking about? Spoon has been on top in endurance racing for years and years. Its just when people start throwing Spoon stickers all over there car, with little to no Spoon equipment.

Spoon TB is a bit pricy but it’s a total waist of money. It comes with both TPS and MAP sensors, 62mm at the plate and tapered out to 70mm at the lip. If I’m not mistaken a stock TB will cost you more then what a Spoon unit will cost you. The Spoon TB will give you good throttle response and a few HP. I have had one for a few years not, both on my B16 and now on my B18C5 setup. I have no complaints.

Like everyone else said, should have gone to max bore and then had your IM bored out to 70mm as well. $300 roughly and wouldve seen the same results plus more.

First, he did not waste his money, that is just "your" opinion. Second, 70mm would be over kill for a stock motor. Even on a C5 with cams 70mm is a bit big.

Why would you buy something meant for a different engine? Most B Series motors go together but the ITR is tricky in some places.

because alot of it is exactly the same. why spend 300 dollars on an oem 62mm ITR throttle body when i can get a 20 dollar 60mm b16 and bore it out to the same diameter for an extra 100 bux.

tricky... right.
i could put my D15 throttle body on an s2000 if i wanted to. physically they all fit but mechanically they obviously don't all work the same.

My TPS was broken too, $35 on eBay and $125 at a junkyard for TB with TPS and MAP (needed my car running, only car i have lol) all in all, $160 and everything works right. Waste of money IMHO, could of got a nice header like the new Sparks Racing one or a use one off eBay, but your parents are paying for it so no loss to you I guess

So true! I agree with everyone that $500 is way to much for a TB but then again so is $800 for a mugen valve cover, which everyone seems to love.

If I had the $500 and if I lived in the states I would buy/assemble a used turbo kit from a DSM, better gains than any cam + tb can give
