Default Going back to stock, now rough idle, throwing a cel, and no VTEC? HELP!

Hey guys,

Putting my car back to stock so I can sell it. Today I took the Crower Stage 2 cam and OBX adjustable cam gear out and put in the stock y8 cam and cam gear back in that I originally replaced. I also took the LS throttle body off that I had on and put my stock y8 throttle body back on. I then took off the AEM ITR cold air that I had on, and replaced the stock airbox and resonator. After all this I unplugged my VAFC.

So I started the car, and its idling high as crap. It idles around 1800rpm and that is with the idler screw all the way closed, and with the throttle cable all the way loose. I also knocked my fuel pressure back to 38-40psi with the vacuum line disconnected as according to my Helms Manual.

My timing isnt perfect but it's been much worse off before and still ran better than this. Also, when I get up to about 5500-5600 rpms the car hits a limiter as if it is a rev limiter, and I do not hit Vtec and can't rev it past that.

Any ideas? I basically un-did everything I did when I installed all of this stuff, except now I have crazy problems. I'm throwing a CEL so Im gonna check that and report back in the morning. Any help greatly appreciated as I am hoping to have this car ready by Friday to trade. Thanks in advance guys!

Hey guys, figured out the CEL and Vtec engagement problem, when I unplugged the VAFC, that's all I did, I didn't re-wire the ecu wires back to factory. Now I don't throw a CEL and can hit Vtec. I have to play with the throttle cable, because it is causing a high idle still, if I yank back on the pedal the car cuts off and dies. So I will play with the cable in the morning. Any other opionions would be great, but I think I've got all my problems solved, thanks!
