I don't believe there isn't any difference. The Type-R/B16 heads are casted PR3-1, PR3-2, PR3-3, and PR3-4. They are all the same structurally (except for the obvious cams, valvetrain and mild porting).

No, not necessarily. I'm just saying the Type-R/B16 heads have the same cast numbers, but with the extra 4th digit. It doesn't mean anything.

Of course, the CR is different between a GSR and SiR-G motor which accounts for the extra 10HP.

mmmm i dunno know bout that, the piston head promotes higher compression, so running a real* 96 octane, which ive done, proves to be a noticeable diffrence, Not same hp figures either i would definately say my motor runs pretty strong, just raced a 99 civic hatch with a type s motor, header, int, exhaust, 15inchslipstreams with 205 50 15 t1-s's and i stuck that sob like flys on ****. We raced all over the freewayfor prolly 20 miles or so and he kept pulling, but not by much and on one of my 4 gear pulls, i walked away for him, it was fun??? My friends obd1 gizzer\civic did not pull close to as well as i did- the k20 also said he sould be doing 12's ????? then why was i on his ***????
