B16a2 Help

Me and some friends installed a B16a2 into a 98 Civc Dx Four Door... Everything works fine but the speedo and the Tach.... Ive checked all the fuses and Wires...
The Car is a 98 Honda Civic DX OBD2a
Thr motor is a 2000 B16a2... Please help

Asking again. Have you connected it up? Check that the wire isn't damaged or frayed. Check the resistence of the wire to make sure it's getting the right amount of volts.

Someone told me today that, Since the Inside of the cars harness is OBD2a and the New engine harness and motor is OBD2b.. We have to run the speedo and tach plugs to the ECU....is this true?
