I have been having a problem with my susp. setup for about 6 months it happens at the front left tire and it makes a knocking sound when i hit a sharp bump!(I have a 00 civic with ground controls on kyb gr-2's with 215/35/18's) I was wondering if i could fix this,because i think it is a spring/clearance issue, by getting some H&R OEM springs that only drop .75inch to raise it up some! My front tires are basically touching the fenders and i cannot get them to go any higher, will this help??

p.s. b4 the lowering i had 1.5-2 inch clearance in wheel well!

Why can't you raise the car up? Have you looked under there to see what might be going on to cause the noise? How low are you dropped?
