the type-r lip flares out a little more on the bottom. it's longer...as in it will be closer to the ground

Versus the SI lip? I'm 99% sure they have the same exact part number and everything.

No. It's the same thing.

The knock off "type r style" is the one that flares out more and hangs lower.

It's the 96-98 CTR lip that's lower than the SiR lip.

sorry man, but the reason the one u have flares out more is propbobly because it the "KNOCK-OFF" version. the si and the type-r are identical. i cant see the difference.

Cosmetically speaking they look pretty much the same. I mean, if there is a difference, I can't see it.

^ OEM Si and OEM Type R lips are identical. The Type R lips that flare out more are knock offs.

type r is lighter? lol they both are plastic so what more weight reduction do you need? as flimsy as it is who needs it to be lighter?

mostly all of the "type r" knock off lips are not replicas of the civic type r, but they are replicas of the INTEGRA TYPE R lip
