Default edead for 4dr ek

96 civic sedan. i wanna get edead v1se for the trunk, and edead v1 for doors/roof. has anyone done this before? if so, what amount was sufficient to insulate your ride i.e. did you have multiple layers. also, the site only has 10percent off edead orders over 250 bucks, but are there maybe some discount codes that i'm not seeing? i don't need 125 sq. ft. of the stuff. appreciate any help

i got mine from the company off of ebay. i got 60 feet of v1.1se. read their forums before putting it on. I used about 40 feet in my 95 accord trunk alone. some of it fell off under the rear deck where my 6x9s are b/c i failed to read the forums. i installed it on a clean surface, but without heating the surface or the edead. that stuff sticks like crazy though. definitely worth it if you take your time and follow the directions online. i give it

if you're going to put one 2 layers of v1 on the doors and roof, i would say 100 sq. ft. to be on the safe side. eD equipment

eD went ahead and applied the discount for me. saved much time! got my v1se today and a heat gun. 60 square feet should be enough i hope. and i think i'm slowly warming up to their components.

just study the tutorials on the eD website and you'll be fine. a bottle of alcohol, rags, razor, roller, and a blow dryer is all you need really. for me i did my install on a nice warm day; i'd say it was 80+ degrees. once i got the the surfaces prep'ed and ready to go, i used a blow dryer and heated up the sticky part till its just a bit warm and lil gooey. thats about it

yes the alcohol and blow dryer are essential. i did not know about heating even though i did it when in was atleast 75. it came off of my rear deck in the sun, i am going to redo it with a heat gun
