Lexan windows for crx
Where can i find ones that fit well! Ive seen ones people bought on ebay and they looked like crap. I want to lighten up the back, and keep it stock looking. Most lexan windows come with a black boarder going around it right?
It says on their website

Obviously these are aftermarket/race windows, but would I actually get pulled over for having these windows? Are these more dangerous for me/others if I were in a crash? I am guessing these are pretty strong since they are made for race cars which could result in a worse scenario if I crashed or something going down the track.
Would these be okay to put on a semi daily driver for the weight saving? Or are these too "racy" to have on a DD/sometimes track car? Do they provide less protection than regular windows? Any info would be appreciated. How much am I looking at for the whole set of 6? And would I be able to install these myself?

The reason they say for race use only is because some states have laws that state you can't use polycarb (lexan), its because you can't break it if you needed to get out. I really don't think you'd ever have an issue having it in just the rear, but if I remember correctly, FAL charges a decent amount for those windows and they say "FAL" in white on them.
