With honda-tech being so large and having so many members, an S 2000 for sale thread will be lost after 15 minutes and most likely not seen by those looking to buy S 2000 gear. The regular For Sale forum moves so fast, you have to bump your thread literally every 5 minutes to keep it on the first few pages. Most users aren't going to go through that many pages to look for stuff.

Not only that, just having to weed through a shillion for sale threads for eg's, ef's, ek's, ej's, ep's, abc's, etc. can get tiresome.

Please weigh in with your opinions if you agree or disagree. Maybe we can petition the mods to help us out (even though from what I understand, they aren't here much unless someone makes a thread like S 2000 forum=finished.).

i dont really see a need for a "for sale" sub forum for the s2000.....

if people would clearly state in the title of their post what they are selling..... people should be able to "search" and find s2000 parts with no problem....

i.e. FS: S2000 (blah blah blah) in socal or whatever.........

then just go into the search function, type in s2000 and it should bring up everything in the for sale forum......

i just did this and pulled up 24 results......

now there is probably more out there, but if it was not clearly stated it would not show up in the results.......

if you use the "search" for what you are looking for it should narrow it down quickly, and you will not have to search through pages of eg,ek and the likes.....

I think it should be okay to post S2000 for sale threads in here, since it doesn't happen often. S2000 parts may require a sub forum though.

 

Thats funny - i was just thinking that today. I am selling my Borla exhaust, but it falls down so quickly, no one ever sees it.

this would be a great idea, but with the quality of people on here lately and the way things are going in the s2000 section of this site.... not to many of us will be here much longer..

 

i think we need our mods here at least once a day, if not more. we need some authority here to help keep this place informative

We also need a general S2000 information sticky, so that we can alleviate all the posts that get repeated non-stop.

i'd talk to them but haven't seen either on aim. i do know vapor was going on a trip but he should be back
