what did you use to bend the line so that you didnt crease it at all?
and dont you need the Prelude Brake booster to get the full effect from your larger MC?
(i have the prelude mc and bb sitting in my garage debating to sell or put on my ef)

I havent installed it.. I am looking to get a new MC for my crx, cuz I think mine is shot. On the side of my crx MC it says 7/8..is that right ?
I guess you need some forearm muscle to bend the line, or a heat torch.
You dont need the Prelude booster... Remember the 90-91 4 door ex is a direct bolt on and it uses the same 15/16 MC the prelude has... the only difference is that with the prelude MC, you need to bend 1 of the lines..

LARGER ? It's 1" ?
all you have to do to the Prelude MC is bend 1 of the lines slightly... not a big deal.

-i meant larger than the civic mc and bb, not the one from the prelude

If you use the 90-91 Civic EX 15/16 m/c there is no brake line bending or booster swapping necessary. I have EX knuckles with the 10.2 inch integra calipers and rotors. Nice upgrade and its OEM.

the only bending required for the prelude MC or the accord lxi MC can be done with your fingers and it is such a slight bend, no big deal it took me about 30 seconds. please dont use a torch or anything of the sort lol

Exactly...and it's the same size. No bending of the lines needed.

not NISSAN, NISSIN its probably stamped on all your calipers, its the manufacturer of braking components. Let us know how easy this "bending"
of 1 line is when you get through rob.

i currently have the 89 prelude master and brake booster in my 89 hatch. the one line that needs to be bent is very easy to bend with your hands. just bend slowly and carefully and you won't have a problem. the brake booster bolts directly in without any modification. it's just bigger, so it might be a little harder to move around to get it into the car. that was the only thing i had any trouble with. but it fits.
Just remember brake fluid is flammable, so don't use any kind of fire, spark, or any other heating technique...unless you'd like to see your car go up in flames.

YEP ..NO PROBLEMO.. I am using it on my 1991 crx si... It'll bolt right up to any 1988-1991 civic/crx.
hatchblack, you didnt have to buy the prelude brake booster...

I ran this on my dx with integra fronts and rears. Loved it until 2 Prelude MCs went bad on me. I'm just not sure if it was from not running the Prelude BB

are you serious ?
this page I read says nothing about getting a prelude brake booster..I think the DX Booster is different from the Si..
