k i have a 92 Si and i finally have the money to go on with the h22 swap. i need some help on what i need to buy besides the engine tranny ecu ? i have an automatic what else do i need besides the pedal for the clutch and everything sorry for all the noob questions i did seatch but i couldn't find anything on the swap.

 

Are you sure.......i can guarantee that close to 50% of this websites archived posts have something to do with this engine and swap

 

well do you have all the clutch pedel components, as well as the proper hydraulic lines for the slave cyl?

you're also going to need the shifter baseplate and shifter assembly along with the shift linkage.

the deal is this: these two things you're doing (you get a for what you're trying to achieve) are two different processes. that's probably why you're not finding much info.

search for writeups on "5 speed swap"

as for the motor, you'll need engine/tranny/ecu and the wiring harness from the h22 in order to grab the vtec harness components when you run your wires for vtec. if you can't find an engine with a cut up harness or something, go to a honda dealer ship and ask them if they have any vtec solenoid/ oilpressure switch harnesses.
