Default What's a nice set of taillights that aren't too ricey looking

My car's ('93 hatch) getting repainted right now and I was considering replacing the stock outer tailights (inner tailights have been shaved). Can someone reccommend a nice set that don't look like Altezza's... something that looks close to stock (I guess) but looks better..

Leave your OEM tail lights, or get the red/clear ones.

However, I have heard of those tail lights fogging up. Either way, good choice.

Good to know. A buddy of mine put them on his coupe last winter, and they started fogging, and getting condensation in them within 2 months.

Stick with stock. They work, dont fog, and dont make you car look like some kids crappy plastic model.

Someone knows what I'm talking about.

i'd say stick with your OEM tailights and smoke'em. I kept my stock on my EJ8 and threw away the OEM si taillights..YUCK! id say STOCK all the way! it looks a whole lot cleaner not to mention as someone said. Dont want them to look like some kids plastic molding!!!..LMAO!!!!

So to run those tails, you have to mold that thing to your car, eliminating any use or access to the hatch? Sweet sign me up.

Stick with your stockers, looks much cleaner.

That doens't like that bad. I think it would look better without the shaved hatch and the side skirts.

*EDIT*

That rear bumper is ugly, and way over priced. I think the tail lights look decent.

Ya, i think it looks good too, but you can't use your hatch and it's crazy body work. I think it would better if you could use the 2005 rsx tails that don't have those two lips in them.

Yeah. I've seen RSX tails where they are ONLY transperant red and clear. Are those the '05 tails or just another style of them?

I have seen some people do altezzas then paint them with red transparent paint...comes out pretty good and you can barely see the altezza portion. It gives it a little bit of flavor but while being different it isn't riced out.

If they fog up just pull the tailight out and get yourself some clear silicon and reseal the edges .
