Default QUestions about the DCRH

Well I might be getting the DCRH soon of course I want the stainless steel race header. But I was wondering if people are using the 02 sim and is it working fine for them? Also Where is the best place to buy it from? As far as price...and shipping.

yes these are all good questions. I'd like to amend that post and ask 1 more question. I've K24 block with in my garage and want to put the same header on it. So will it fit or do I have to fight with it.

if you are referring to the mechanical o2 sim, it has been working for me for some thousand miles now. However, it has not been the same for different people. the casper sim does not work 100 % of the time as i recall. One sure way to keep the light off is to get KPRO.

As for purchasing these 'mechanical o2 sims/spark plug defoulers, you can pick them up from any local auto parts store. good luck.

As far as the kpro for the 05 type s, it is not out yet. Well it is but I would have to buy an 02-04 ecu ( which i do not want to do) but anyways I heard the spark plug defoulers work pretty good so I will check that out. Thanks guys.

casper's is good and the mechanical one is cheap - they are both effective but for some they have failed.

K24 block with a rh is very difficult actually, you'll need to take off your front sway bar making your car handle badly.

Thanks. As far as the sway bar goes I really don't think that it is a necessity anymore since I don't street race any more. I mean how much stiffness do you need going down a straight line with no turns. Remember street racing is a felony in TX (Serious Felony). They try to hang you out to dry if caught racing. Keep it on the track, leave that other stuff to the high school kids.
