Default Going from NO armrest to ITR armrest in a EG???

I have seen some basic information on this around... but I want to make sure I am getting the exact stuff I need. My interior is dark gray... I dont know if there is a darker black or not... or if i have what is considered black.

My car has zero armrest in it right now...

what do I need to order to get the armrest console and required hardware for installation and how do I make sure i ordered the right color?... and what do I need to order to get the ITR pad for the armrest to match my interior seats and shift boot?

Lastly, do you guys recommend I get it from anywhere specific, or will any honda dealer do? I would prefer to give the business to someone in the community over a random dealer.

Thanks guys!

Rather than ordering a new armrest, I picked up a used armrest from a wrecker for around 60 CAD. The only problem was that the armrest was a tan colour. To resolve this, I painted it using SEM's automotive interior paint. I know a lot of people will flame me for painting my armrest but I've had no problems with flaking or chipping. As long as you prep it properly (ie remove all oil, grime, etc - using SEM Soap), you shouldn't have any problems.

I believe the armrest came from a 94 LX. The best thing is that it fits perfectly into my coupe without any mods. The only problem it that the armrest requires a different bracket which holds the e-brake cable. You can still run using your normal bracket but the back of the armrest won't be supported. Anyway, it is unlikely that you will be knocking it around since it is trapped between your seats.

As far as matching the ITR interior, I had mine wrapped in suede. Sorry, I don't know how to post pics but they are in the following link.

If you have any questions, feel free to pm me. Sorry about the long post

i dont know if this applies to the 92-95 civics but my 97 ex armrest didnt fit in my 97 dx HB, the brackets that the back of the arm rest (where the E brake cables attach) is shorter on the hatch and the arm rest didnt fit because of this

I'd say get an armrest from http://www.slhondaparts.com and buy an ITR armrest pad.

or

And Integra (DC) armrest will fit into the EG Civic, but it's not going to look right in there because it's too wide and has a ridge on each side. So when you bolt it into place, it's going to look totally out of place along with your shifter console cover.
