does the 92 civic d16z6 have a knock sensor. if so does it need the knock sensor for the v-tech to engage. ...........im swapping in a 96 y8.

your title is not descriptive, please from now on be descriptive..

such as: D16Z6 knock sensor questions...

secondly, how do you engage a phone? because hondas do not have v-tech, hondas have vtec.

also a simple search gave me multiple posts where people have stated that vtec engages regardless of a knock sensor, the timing will be retarded because ecus are placed in limp home mode...

to answer the question, no it doesn't have a knock sensor, and yes please make better titles for your posts in the future.
