Default d16z6 into ef9 civic, problem starting up.

Recently swapped a d16z6 into my EF9. I'm having problem starting it up. The motor cranks and it seems to want to startup. It has gas because I can hear it. I checked the sparks and there were sparks.

Here is my setup:

D16z6 w/ d16a6 ecu
d16z6 obd1 distributor w/ obd0-obd1 conversion

is it the ECU? Please help me out. Thank you

Can't use the A6 ecu with an obd-1 distributor. You need to buy a p28 ecu!

how did you manage to use a OBD0 ecu with an OBD1 conversion? The plugs are not the same. What all have you done to convert to obd1. you need a conversion harness to be able to plug in a p28...
