i already posted this in the appearance forum but thought id get a better response from the accord section:

im planning to blackout my headlights and was wondering if anyone knew what area do i need to mask off...
ive seen the ek DIY ones and you pretty much just take apart the assembly and paint the chrome portion...but i have a cd5 and looks like i need to mask off a certain area...anyone with pics....or know off hand what to mask...

and YES i did a search...

 

just mask the diamond area behind the lightbulb itself. Just look at some pics and you'll see what I mean
