I didn't know that the word "affordable" and "volk" could go in the same sentence, LoL! What size and what price are the wheels you mention? I dont think anyone makes wheels out of magnesium any longer, but i could be wrong.
How about Forged 5Zigen FN01R in 16x7 for $395 per wheel at Discount tire store, not online. The cast wheels can be had for a little less than half the cost in the same size.
