Honda Accord 90..............
Just had my compressor changed 2 yrs ago took the opportunity to change refrigerant to r 134 system....... two weeks ago my blower stop "blowin air" as per THANKFUL advises was able to take off old blower motor and change with new opne from used auto parts store and perfectly its blowin air now...... BUT got no cold air blowin after i paid 30$ to have system checked mechanic told me i have a bad compressor and need to be change and going to cost me 500$ WHEW way to great for my car any other suggestion what else to check to be sure i should change my compressor ......... opnme thing i noticed SIR is that its not only not blowin cold air but seems liek its blowin HOT air ( but im pretty sure my thermostat or heat aint on" any tips???

When you did the conversion did you completely fush the sustem and change the acumulator dryer?

R143a is not to friendly when it comes in contact with moisture and or r12.

I would replace the compressor and the acumulator dryer and then put the system on vacume and then test and fill

 

didint you ask same thing on another post????? i ask you here as i asked you there why did they say you need a compressor??? do you have power to compressor coil???
