Possible to still get a new Lude?
Obviously we all know the Prelude has been discontinued, but a friend of mine brought up an interesting point, that is looking around for the few remaining Ludes that are at dealerships and possibly getting one for a discount? His reasoning is that the dealers would be willinging to negotiate because they want to get rid of the cars.
What do you guys think?

yes, but they are very hard to find any left at dealers. when i was looking, most dealers only had the automatic ones. but youre right about the price, you can have one for probably $20k-21k for the base if you bargain well enough.
whatever, they are everywhere. there are 5 just at my local dealer. couple SH's and a couple 5spd base ones too. right now they are doing 500 below invoice but they get you with accessories on the models left.
i tried to get a new silver 5spd base but my payments came out to $400/mo and they only would give me $7k for my integra!
so i just went
and left!

Prelude's are for sale everywhere.
There are tons in the Bay Area that keep popping up on dealer lots.
For some reason, everyone is selling/trading in their Preludes right now...
I've seen more Type-SH's for sale than I've ever seen in my area.
As for a brand spankin' new one, I'm certain you could talk the dealer down,
it's true, they want to get rid of the remaining stock. But it really depends.
If your interested in a used one, my friend's been trying to sell his 2000 Prelude
automatic for months now. It only has 19K miles, and has been babied since it
left the dealer lot. $18K obo. Email.

Our dealership will rip anyone a new one. If i remember correctly, when I got my 97 Lude last year, I saw a silver 01 Lude parked next to it for almost 27K! That's insane stuff if you ask me. I got mine for 14K tho,
