I know a guy with silver AE86 with TRD clutch, tokico shocks, eibach springs, LSD, etc. but he's located in the bay area around Concord. They are really hard to find nowadays, I've been looking for one but most of the ones I see are out of my price range. Try Club 4ag website, they have a for sale forum
hachiroku is the jap name for the corolla gts 84-87 i think. it's called sprinter trueno in japan and has twin cam 16v engine. some engines have 20v and some have sc like the ones in MR2. yadda yadda yadda

BTW, another option is get an SR5, which is more common and a 4AGE transplant doesn't really cost much.
hachi = 8, roku = 6. hachiroku = 86. That's the short form of the chassis designation, AE86.
In the US, we saw the hachiroku in the '85-'87 Corolla GTS which came in both coupe and hatchback bodystyles. It came with a 112hp-ish fuel-injected 16 valve, twincam, 1.6L 4A-GE engine with T-VIS, Toyota's dual stage intake runners. While compact import cars were making the progression to FWD, the Corolla GTS remained RWD, instantly gaining it a cult following.
The underlying chassis is almost identical to the '81 Corolla I owned. Although the engine and solid rear axle suspension is not spectacular by today's standards, that car is still surprisingly fun to drive.
I think I'm beginning to sound like a Gran Turismo blurb.
