I am so ******* pissed. Got pulled over for going 5 over, the cop said he just wanted to check to see if I was ok. Then he asked if he could search my car and I said no cause I don't have time for some hick **** to hassle me for no reason. So then he is like "I knew u were going to say that" all arrogantly and went and got the dog out of the back of his car.

I thought they just walk the dog around the car but boy was I wrong. He was holding it by the collar pretty much and pulling the dog up all over my car scratching the **** out of everything. I mean rear bumper is tore up, both doors, qtr panels, and fenders all have deep claw marks everywhere. When he was doing it I was he hey wtf man that dog is tearing up my car and he was just yelling get back do not interefere or your going to jail kid.

Then he was like the dog made an alert, which is total bull cause it didnt do anything but scratch everything up. So I get to sit there and wait for some pig to rummage through my car for 30 mins looking for drugs in a car that has never had drugs in it EVER.

Then he wrote me up a warning for 5 over and sent me on my way. God bless texas state troopers, they do such a fine job of upholding the law.

I lost the cord to my digi but once I find it you guys will not ******* believe the damage done to my car.

you didn't consent to a search, you warned the officer that he was damaging your property
and you've never had any drugs in your car ever.

if this is ever happening to you, make the officer VERY aware that you fully intend to sue the **** out of him if the dog damages your car.

same **** happened to me..got pulled for no front plate, refused the search, he pulled the dog out..did a couple of laps around my car and nothing, then he ran really close to my car and pull up on the leash , then the dog went crazy,..scratching the f outta my car..all over the door and rear 1/4, then i went off! wtf, whos gona pay for that, blah blah blah..they told me to sit down and shut up or else! anyways they found nothing and did nothing about my car..they told me to file a complaint but blantantly told me theyre not responsible cause theyre mustve been something illegal in my car at one time thats why the dog went off...sorry bout your car bro, try buff'n, clay bar, anything...doesnt look like it went through paint just clear

You said No to a search he had no right to pull out the drug dog. Even tho you cant afford a lawyer if you take the cop to court all you have to do is include the lawyer fee along with the damage bill you wont have to pay a dime. Atleast thats how I would do it. Good luck

 

with a lot of lawyers you sign a contract saying that if you win he gets a certain percentage of the winnings... otherwise he gets nothing... call around.... more than likely they will settle out of court and you'll get a free paint job.

why?

you ALWAYS say no. even if you have nothing to hide, you say no. they need probable cause to search. unless the officer saw something in the car that warranted him searching it, he was in the wrong. the problem is this kind of thing happens every day and no one does anything about it.

AHEM, Dont put up with that ****** bullshit. Dont let them think they're right and carry on this stupid *** profiling bullshit. I HATE nothing more than ignorant/arrogant cops. I got so ******* pissed at a cop once for accusing my friend for racing when we were cruising at 70 (in a 60 but other minivans, cars, suv's, etc.,) were going faster than us as well and a GSX and SRT-4 flew by us goin well over 100. he goes ''ya right, you guys...in this car...weren't racing....ya sure." I got so pissed and went off on him at the spot, I shut up when I started proving him wrong on other stuff though because he stepped back and was about to pull his gun and didn't want to go through all that.
