what does Rossi eat for breakfast?
everything in front of him.
anyone else catch the Assen race? man, it doesn't matter how bad a start Rossi gets, he'll just get to the front and win.
I hope the rest of the season doesn't turn out like the last few seasons Mick Doohan was racing. Doohan was amazing, getting out so far ahead of everyone that the races became boring! there was no scrap at the end.
laguna seca in two weeks! woo hoo!

Yea, Rossi is the man but the races are usually hard fought and very good to watch. Can't wait for Laguna Seca!

I know that any kind of motorsport is not easy, especially in such elite racing, but come'on! Rossi belongs on a bike, not behind a steering wheel. He knows good lines to pick, has outstanding endurance, reaction times are unworldly, and is used to the speeds so I think he'll be very competitive, probably quicker than most would guess. After all, he's surprised everyone time and time again. But, I'd rather see him on a GP bike than on a vehicle that can't fall over.

you have to realize that once you win everything there is to win, you need a new challenge. That is the nature of a competitive person, having the need to constantly meet new challenges. There has only ever been one man that has ever won in both top class's... John Surtees, and to be associated with that claim would be a great honor

But there are people that are currently racing that does challenge him. And Sete seemed to have blossomed overnight last year. For Rossi just to leave, that's utter disrespect to his sportsmen.
I can't help but think of Michael Jordan on this matter. He felt unchallanged, retired, did other things, was never very competitive, thought he could do it again in basketball, failed miserably, and lost respect from many.
I think Rossi should race GP until he feels the need to retire. But he's still very young and has many years left. That's the graceful way to end his career.
I'd respect him more even if he started to lose but still tried than just moving to a different sport to find new challenges. Face it, he's gifted, but on a sport like F1, you don't need the particular feel that he has on a bike, more or less, you need to keep a clean line, and there's probably others that can do it better, with much more experience. He'll never dominate like he does on a bike. It's awhole different ball game.
As a bike rider, you know that there's more to it than racing a car.

Why? It would seem to me that because both series are the pinnacle of their respective classes, that they would share some sort of mutual respect.
Also, exactly how easy would it be for Rossi to start up in F1? Are race skills that easily transferable from two wheels to four?
