P28 ECU Strange Fuel Control
Hey all,
I have a stock 93 si with a D16Z6 and P28 ECU. I recently installed a wide band air fuel ratio meter, and under part throttle (cruising) the AFR is all over the place. Usually bouncing between 13 and 15:1. It tends to sit down around low 13's most of the time, and maybe once per second it bounces back up to 14.5:1.
At first I thought maybe an injector was off, or there was a misfire or something. But under full throttle, it sits at a rock solid 13.6:1. Also, For a day I ran with the O2 sensor unplugged and the AFR was a solid 14.2:1 No bouncing at all.
AFR did the same with old O2 sensor, and new one. Is this typical, or is there something strange here?
