So i got bored today and decided to relocate my battery to my trunk. I had $0 and some extra 2gauge wire laying around so i went for it and here is the result....

I think it's a clever idea and looks pretty good to me.

Plus, you can lie to people and tell the cooler in your trunk has free beer... then laugh when they open it.

I will eventually get one of the official boxes but as of now its working out great and the engine bay looks better

it wont pass at a NHRA certified track i know that for sure

 

edgewater (i believe nhra) in cincinnati ohio would pass him. they passed my cracked windshield

the tech at edgewater isn't really tech at all during test/tune though.

edit** yep, edgewater is nhra and they'd pass the crap outta that as long as it passed they're shake test (basically the cooler and battery have to be rigidly bolted down.)

yeah, hopefully someone doesnt try to pick it up and walk off with your battery and about 10ft of battery cable.
